Traditional Chinese Dumplings and half cooked Meat Buns available frozen to cook at home!
Chinese Dumpling House
Pan Fry Dumplings: Place frozen dumplings crest up into an oiled non- stick pan. Sautee until bottom of dumplings are lightly browned (just few seconds). Then add water up to the dumpling crest and cover with lid, moderate heat until water boils away. Check dumpling bottom, be sure not blacken. When the temperature of the dumplings reaches 165° , ready to serve.
Boil Dumplings: Drop the frozen dumplings into ½ pot of boiling water, stir dumplings to prevent them from sticking together, wait till the water boils again, then add 1/2 cup cold water. When then water boils again add another 1/2 cup of water heat to boiling. Now boil until all the dumplings float on the top of water or until temperature of the dumplings reaches 165°, ready to serve.
Meat Buns: Place frozen buns into an oiled non-stick pan.
Add enough water to reach the top of the buns and cover pan with lid. Moderate heat until water boils away.
IMPORTANT!! Turn buns over when half the water has boiled away.
